Eastern Seaboard Double Header

The society operated the Eastern Seaboard Double Header tour on Saturday 20th August 2005. SETS' own electric locomotive 8606, along with Silverton's 8644, hauled a tour train from Sydney to Wollongong and Kiama, followed by Gosford. We present images taken of the tour train on the day.

620 class railmotors 623 & 723 arrived at the Up platform at Kiama shortly after the tour train's arrival there (Seen behind on the Down platform). On a test run to evaluate their use as track recorder vehicles, the rail motors departed towards Sydney after only a few minutes.
