::new:: Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co. Ltd. 1899 - 1949 by John Dummelow M.A., A.M.I.E.E. Metrovick was the major British electrical engineering industrial firm that supplied traction equipment to the NSW Government Railways from the mid-1920s to 1960. This included for all single-deck suburban electric cars, u-set interurban electric cars and the 46 class electric locomotives. This book was produced for the firm's golden anniversary in 1949. It details the early history up until the early post WW2 period. Its 250 pages were originally digitised by Jim Lawton around 2008.
