SETS' preserved locomotive 8606 made its maiden tour on Saturday 6th December 2003. This trip saw 8606 recreate the Newcastle flyer with a non-stop journey along the main Northern line. 8606 was also believed to be the first 86-class locomotive to traverse the Richmond line. The following images show the tour train on the day.
