Come with us for a wonderful day of amazing sights
and ships on beautiful Sydney Harbour.
PLEASE NOTE: revised start time of 9:15am
We start first at the Australian National Maritime
Museum in Darling Harbour with a full in-depth tour
of Daring class Destroyer HMA Ship Vampire.
We will go behind the scenes as our inspection
covers internal areas of the ship not normally open to
the public.
This will be followed by a four hour cruise on board
the Sydney Heritage Fleet's preserved steam tug
Waratah around Sydney Harbour. Depending on the
harbour conditions, our trip will cover the lower
reaches of the Parramatta river and Port Jackson in
the direction of Middle Harbour. Enjoy the
magnificent scenic vistas and take in the sights and
sounds, while we travel at a leisurely pace on this
marvellous steamship from long gone era. Afternoon
tea aboard is included on the trip.
Our day will commence with a meeting Under
Pyrmont Bridge next to the National Maritime
Musuem at 9:15am (closest station is Town Hall)
and our trip will end at Victoria Road Rozelle
(Steamship Heritage Ship Yard) around 4:45pm.
Note enclosed leather footwear must be worn for the
inspection of Vampire. For travel to and from the
outing, purchase of a DayPass ticket covering all
