| THE DETAILS:
SETS is taking the opportunity to preview the new Millenium Train presently under construction at Cardiff Workshops by Clyde Engineering. Travel will be by bus direct to Cardiff Workshops to enable us to visit parts of the Toronto branch line (closed in 1990), especially Toronto & Blackalls Park stations and parts of the long-closed Belmont line (*if time permits) in the afternoon. Lunch will be in Cardiff itself at the conclusion of the Millenium Train inspection.
IMPORTANT:
Please note that appropriate clothing and leather footwear is necessary for the inspection of the workshops. Unfortunately company policy does not allow photography within the plant.
BUS PICK-UP & SET-DOWN POINTS:
Our Forest Coach Lines bus will depart Sydney Terminal at 9:00am with a pick-up stop at Hornsby Station Bus-Bay (west side) at approximately 9:45am. Our inspection at Cardiff is due to commence at 12pm. We intend to return to Sydney Terminal (traffic permitting) at approximately 6:30pm with a set-down stop at Hornsby Station.
THE FARES?
Adults $40; Concessions $35 & Children (5-16 Years) $30.
This includes all bus travel throughout the day and, as a direct means of transport to Cardiff Workshops and Toronto/Belmont, is comparable with the return train fare from Sydney.

Please note tickets will not be issued prior to the tour.
