THE DETAILS:
Join us for our traditional end-of-year outing and BBQ - this time at the Goulburn Waterworks and Goulburn Roundhouse. This is the first time the Society has visited these locations, and it offers a good opportunity to inspect the Society’s U-boat cars and various other items of electric and non-electric rolling stock held at the roundhouse. BBQ lunch will be served within the roundhouse grounds. Goulburn City Council are also specially opening the steam powered waterworks pumping station for us, so there will plenty to see and do. Our specially chartered bus will depart from outside Sydney Central Station Platform 1 (under the clock tower) at 8:30am. Note we will not be able to pick-up at Strathfield. We expect to return to Central Station at approximately 6:30pm. Time permitting we will also have a few interesting diversions along the way!
THE FARES ARE:
Adults $45 and Concessions $40 and Child $30. This includes all bus travel, admission to the two Museums, and BBQ lunch.
